Patient Details:
Male 60 years old

Problem Faced:

One fine morning, when he tried to come out of his bed, he could not move his left leg due to acute sciatica pain. The pain was radiating from hip to ankle. In fact, he had a moderate pain in left leg for past couple of days. But he pulled on using painkillers, which relieved the pain temporarily.  Ultimately it resulted in acute sciatica attack and he was confined to bed.

Treatment Adopted:

A 10 days course of acupuncture was given.

On the first day itself, his pain was reduced by 70% and he was able to move in his house. In further 4 treatments he got relief of about 90% and totally relieved after next 5 treatment sessions. He was suggested some exercises thereafter for few days to avoid recurrence.
